About Us Located on a six-acre property in the heart of Bartlett, TN, Little Bears Preschool offers a place for children to learn and grow. Our staff is dedicated to creating a safe environment where children feel comfortable exploring their interests and developing social skills. Not only will parents find plenty of indoor activities, but they’ll also find a plethora of outdoor activities for children to gain a love for nature. Little Bears Preschool has everything from a soccer field and basketball goals to sandboxes and playground equipment. Our preschool has plenty of room for your child to grow and develop!
Little Bears Preschool is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. Our staff is trained to help each child reach their potential in all aspects of their lives, including social, emotional, and physical. We strive to inspire our students to love learning and create a strong foundation for their future education. We focus on STEM activities along with physical play helping your child to be ready for kindergarten.
Cindy Cromwell founded Little Bears Preschool in 1987 and welcomed her first students in 1988 at the current location. Setting out to create an environment as comfortable and loving as Grandma’s house with all the educational benefits of the classroom. What began as a small, remodeled farmhouse in scenic Bartlett soon became five separate buildings on six acres to accommodate the growing number of children. Although more and more children are coming to us for care, we haven’t forgotten about our graduates. We’re proud to say Little Bears alumni have become teachers, nurses, lawyers, and much more. Many even stay in touch, come work at Little Bears or send their children to Little Bears! We truly are just a big family of families.

Mrs. Cindy, and her staff are dedicated to helping your child grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively while guiding them to explore their specific interests. We pride ourselves on the personal touch with each parent and child with close communication. 
At Little Bears Preschool, our faculty members our compassionate about helping each child learn and grow. All staff members are dedicated to making a positive impact on your child. We have staff members specially trained for their specific age group, so you can be sure your child is receiving an experience tailored to their age and abilities. Many of our staff members have their degrees or master's in child related fields. 
We don’t just focus on academic subjects and emotional development but also on healthy habits. We must develop sound eating habits early and strive to build that foundation. We participate in the "Let’s Move” and "Gold Sneaker” programs, which promote proper nutrition and plenty of exercises. Your child will even learn table manners and how to set the table. We also grow a garden throughout the year, with the guidance of a master gardener. Older children can help with meal preparation and cooking projects.
