Our team operates to help children reach their potential in all aspects of their lives, including social, emotional, and physical. We focus on many subjects to pique each child’s interest, from math and science to social studies and physical activity. We strive to inspire our students to love learning and create a strong foundation for their future education.
Cindy Cromwell founded Little Bears Preschool in 1987 and welcomed her first students in 1988. She set out to create an environment as comfortable and loving as Grandma’s house with all the educational benefits of the classroom. What began as a small, remodeled farmhouse in scenic Bartlett soon became five separate buildings to accommodate the growing number of children. Although more and more children are coming to us for care, we haven’t forgotten about our graduates. We’re proud to say Little Bears alumni have become teachers, nurses, lawyers, and much more. Many even stay in touch or send their children to Mrs. Cindy! We truly are just a big family of families.

There’s no shortage of events and activities happening at Little Bears Preschool. With six acres of land, there’s always something going on. While other preschools may function as little more than a daycare, that isn’t the case at Little Bears Preschool. We’re always holding special events, including Trash to Treasure, summer camps, and other monthly activities. Ask our team about upcoming field trips!
We don’t just focus on academic subjects and emotional development but also on healthy habits. We must develop sound eating habits early and strive to build that foundation. We participate in the "Let’s Move” and "Gold Sneaker” programs, which promote proper nutrition and plenty of exercises. Your child will even learn table manners and how to set the table. Older children can help with meal preparation and cooking projects.
